Description

A number of different arrangements are available with this design, including flush deck centre cockpit, coachroof centre cockpit and aft cockpit, all over a round bilge, reverse garboard hull with moderate length keel, skeg supported rudder and a cutter rig. A number of Shrikes have been constructed in cold mould and strip planking and proved very successful and capable offshore. A short ‘T’ shaped centre cockpit gives easy working combined with deep coamings for safety. A good safe cruising vessel with a keel and hull form giving the best of both worlds in terms of performance and cruising.
