The RENEGADE 53 came before the 43 being developed directly from the 37. Two have been built; number one having cruised in excess of 50,000 nautical miles including a full circumnavigation over a nine year period. This vessel was extended to 55ft in New Zealand by increasing the bottom shell run off aft of the transom to provide greater area for tradewind sailing. Centre cockpit or twin centre and aft cockpits; cutter rig with an accommodation suited to either family cruising or crewed charter. All electric internally powered by a 6.5kVa generator. A robustly constructed fast, medium displacement, blue water cruising yacht.
