Produced under the design modification scheme, this raised foredeck and doghouse sloop, similar in style to the Mystic was developed for a client who wanted a low cost; easy-to-build; four berth boat with enclosed head; plenty of elbow room; good performance and seakindliness. The hard-chine hull planks easily in marine ply and permits the light displacement, which allows a simple sloop rig. The combination of brief centre stub and steel-plate keels giving a useful total of ballast, which will enable her to carry her sail in comfort and stand for drying out. The raised foredeck arrangement has two benefits, plenty of foredeck space and higher than average internal volume.
