The original Debutante marks I an II proved themselves very seaworthy, light on the helm, easy to sail and fast to windward. The Mark IV is a modification of the Mark II but for ease of amateur construction. Her appearance is unusual with a reverse shear plus doghouse, providing uncluttered decks a good cabin volume. She has proved herself time and again with extended, even ocean, cruising under her belt. (see Tristan Jones “the Incredible Voyage”)
