The smallest of the steel sailing vessels, Cambrian is of traditional appearance having up-swept sheer, moderate bulwarks and moderate overhangs. All are combined in a generously beamed hull to give excellent accommodation in so short a vessel, plus good seakeeping and stability. The underwater hull is also traditional, having a long keel with the rudder hung on the aft end. Choice of rigs between traditional, simplified gaff or bermudan sloops. The accommodation is laid out comfortably for four, complete with a separate toilet compartment. lnboard engines recommended of around 12 hp. A good boat for a building beginner.
