Description

Since its inception, some 1000+ Matilda’s have been constructed in plywood and GRP al over the world. With her very light displacement and a generous working rig plus big genoas and spinnaker, this cruiser was specifically designed as an ideal trailer-sailer. She has a capacious accommodation which features berths for four adults, a separate toilet compartment (unheard of in a boat under 6m) and a huge cockpit. An easy building job, especially designed for amateurs. The marine ply boat is double chined whereas the foam sandwich grp features a tight round bilge. Matilda’s are capable of drying out relatively upright with keel retracted.
