CALEO II was originally designed for aluminium construction and modified into steel. She was designed for ease of handling with only three sails, a mainsail, mizzen and a genoa on a furling spar. Thus she could easily be shortened down to partially rolled up headsail and mizzen.
Most constructed have all departed these shores for sunnier climes.
Definitely a formal motor sailer with large wheelhouse between fore and aft accommodation. The poop deck doubles as working area or cockpit.
Accommodation of the basic model is laid out for six in three separate cabins including the owners cabin aft with en-suite toilet and shower facility. Galley and dining area are below decks with saloon and internal steering from the wheelhouse.
